My name is Megan Keller. I
have a sweet baby boy and a fantastic husband. I am a birth and
postpartum doula. I have been a Post Partum Doula for five years and a Birth
Doula for two and a half years. Being a doula is a passion of mine and
I bring that dedication to every woman and family that I attend. I am
currently a doula partner with my sister Heather Shelley. This
partnership is beneficial to our clients because of always knowing who will
be at your birth. Heather and I back each other up and sometimes work
together during a woman's labor. Our deep relationship allows us to
communicate without words in a labor room and without competition when a
family chooses which of us they would prefer as their primary doula.
As a Doula I support women in labor
in many different ways. I help to relieve pain and discomfort by
touch, pressure and constant support. I also help family members by
relieving any undo worries and instructing them on how to best take an
active role in their loved one's labor.
As a Post Partum Doula I help in the
home with breastfeeding, small chores (such as dishes or laundry), sibling
care and cooking.
Listed below are a few of my
trainings and qualifications in the field of childbirth and beyond.
